This is a restricted course and is only available to students enrolled in the Griffith Biology Year 11 and 12 Program offered by Griffith Health. The course will be completed across two semesters - 1002HLS_Y1 in semester 1 and 1002HLS_Y2 in semester 2.<br/><br/>Students will commence with human homeostatic (whole integrated body) mechanisms and then progressively drill down to tissues and then features of cell form and function including membrane transport. In the final weeks the course introduces cell signalling and key concepts in neural regulation.
