This unit builds on the fundamentals of project management to plan and manage a major facility event, such as organisational restructure or premises relocation. Issues of effective communication to building users and the sequencing of sub-events are explored via an authentic case study. Students form teams, assign tasks and develop plans for the successful implementation of the event and gain an understanding of the complexity of event management coordination. Methods for the evaluation of success are also discussed.Assessment -- Course Website
