This unit will focus on developing students' knowledge and understanding of Australian wildlife, particularly in relation to the major issues concerning the conservation and utilisation of these species. The unit examines the theoretical and practical applications of conservation biology with an emphasis given to conservation problems and their potential solutions in an Australian context.
