This unit will introduce students to the foundations of marine and coastal environments; marine and coastal biodiversity and conservation issues. Students will engage with the principles of environmental interpretation from the perspective of the marine and coastal environment. In doing so, students will be equipped with the skills to undertake a broad range of environmental interpretation activities with a range of audiences and interpretive media. This unit has no assumed knowledge of marine biology, and is suitable for any students with a passion for the environment and motivation to make a difference.
