This unit enables students to complete an extended industry placement within a relevant organisation. Students will be required to undertake a body of work giving them extended opportunities to experience first-hand the day-to-day work environment as an IT professional, learn more about the wide range of career outcomes available to IT graduates and apply what they have learnt in the classroom to an actual working environment. Each student will be assigned an academic supervisor and an industry supervisor during the extended placement period.
