The unit examines in detail the relationship between the design of an object-oriented system and its implementation. Concepts covered include language syntax and semantics, classes as templates for objects, method development, implementation of class relationships, constructors and destructors, polymorphism, dynamic memory management, error detection and handling, testing and debugging, terminal and file input/output, and programming modules. In addition to developing new software, students will gain experience in testing, debugging and maintaining existing systems.Assessment -- Course Website
