This unit provides a practical introduction to developing applications for Android devices and the major features of this platform. It explores the concepts behind Android, the framework for constructing an application, and the tools for developing, testing, and publishing software for the platform. It covers topics including the fundamentals of the Android framework and API, using Android's development and debugging tools to build and test applications, preparing the application for deployment and publication to Android Market.
