This unit aims to develop the fundamental functions of applied mathematics, and to introduce calculus to students who have not previously studied it in secondary school. It is designed to prepare students for tertiary level mathematics. -- Course Website

Prerequisites: Students who have successfully completed VCE Maths Methods 3 and 4 and/or Specialist Maths 3 and 4 are not normally eligible to enrol in this unit.
