Interactive media is the combination of the digital forms of the 5 multimedia assets: text, images, sounds, video and animation with the addition of interactive elements. This unit aims to build on the theories and principles of interactive media and provide students with a theoretical and practical introduction to design criteria and the design process of information delivered by interactive media. The unit will cover user needs analysis and designing for the user, selection of suitable technology, designing for computer-based media, and the use of the major software tools and their accompanying skills. -- Course Website
