This unit introduces the techniques of creating static and dynamic web content using (X) HTML, style sheets, client side and server side scripting languages and databases. It focuses on developing the skills required for web programming with mark-up and scripting languages, such as building quality web pages, designing and maintaining a website. It introduces the concepts and technologies of the Web, the Internet and data networks, addresses how to use basic web programming tools, and discusses the potential future of web/internet applications. -- Course Website
