In this unit and the following unit, students will carry out their capstone Professional Practice Project relevant to their specialism using knowledge gained in previous study. Students are advised to have an approved proposal before enrolment in this unit. The unit forms the foundation for a major project or a design component allocated to, or proposed by, the student in a specialised area. The project or the design exercise entails research investigation involving a critical review and interpretation of literature on a selected topic, and provides an opportunity for the formulation of a detailed project proposal and plan.
