Renewable energy sources including solar and wind energies are becoming more important than ever due to increasing energy demand, dwindling oil and gas supplies, increasing pollution levels in the atmosphere and the associated global warming effects. An overview of the different energy sources will be covered and through advanced laboratory work the characteristics of solar energy and wind energy will be further investigated. -- Course Website
