The unit provides a conceptual framework for students to examine and understand the functions, roles and skills of managers in organisations. The roles and skills of managers will be developed through analysis of the planning, organising, leading and controlling functions of management. This unit will also examine the development of human resource management functions and highlight the variety of techniques employed in managing people in organisations.Assessment -- Course Website
