The theme of this unit is how to identify profitable and unprofitable business decisions in a business and how to implement the former. Students will also explore the limitations of using accounting data to make economic decisions in a business environment, since, for example, the accounting and economic measure of cost is different. Consequently students will be taught how to make necessary adjustments to accounting data to measure the corresponding economic concept. In addition there will be some discussion about the differences between cyberspace and non cyberspace businesses. -- Course Website
