This level 1 unit, which comprises both academic and fieldwork streams, introduces students to occupational science and therapy. It examines the current and potential roles occupational science and therapy play in individual and population health settings. Students are encouraged to draw on personal and fieldwork experiences as a first step to understanding themselves as occupational beings and to developing appropriate learning objectives.
