This unit draws upon the theory and methods of population health, gender and diversity studies to examine health inequalities and related outcomes. A key focus is on understanding the underlying social determinants of health inequalities in culturally diverse populations. An international perspective on health with a human rights focus is also explored. A key aim is to enable students to develop a sound knowledge of the complexities of gender, diversity and health inequalities along with understanding the policies and strategies that are effective in closing the inequality gap.Assessment -- Course Website
