This unit focuses on the common research methods used in population health reinforcing and building upon what students have gained from previous units such as HBS108 Health Information and Data and HSH205 Epidemiology and Biostatistics 1. The aim of this unit is to introduce students to the principles and practices of research in public health and health promotion with a focus on current population health issues using qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods approaches.
