This unit provides students with knowledge of the national compensation schemes within the Australian healthcare system in the context of the practising clinical exercise physiologist. Students will develop their understanding of appropriate ethical and professional behaviour for exercise physiologists. The unit also provides students with the opportunity to learn to work with a patient base within a controlled environment from all the stages of an exercise intervention (the initial referral, assessment, design, monitoring, modification and progression). Upon completion of this unit, students will be well placed to work effectively in a clinical exercise environment. -- Course Website
