This unit will examine work-related variables including: (a) stress and burnout, (b) stress management, and (c) occupational health and safety. Topics include: an introduction to a determinants model of health, models of stress and coping; the effects of job demands, job control, and other organisational stressors on workers’ health and quality of life; individual and organisational strategies for coping with stress; occupational health and safety; approaches to health promotion programs in the workplace.Assessment -- Course Website
