This unit will enable students to develop increased understanding, knowledge and skills in a range of research methods and approaches relevant to applied research. It will also enable students to develop a critical understanding of the nature, scope and purpose of research within clinical practice contexts. They will be able to formulate relevant, appropriate and rigorous research questions, strategies, methods, data collection, analysis and dissemination approaches to address a chosen topic that addresses an issue (or issues) in their clinical setting.
