This unit will develop vocationally-relevant professional skills in medical biotechnology, through a series of workshops, on-line modules and a negotiated work placement of a minimum of 100 hours with a relevant organisation organised with approval of the unit chair, which provides experiential learning opportunities to consolidate skills learnt throughout the course. Areas of professional development to be covered include resume/cover letter preparation, interview skills, professionalism, ethics, occupational health and safety. -- Course Website
