Curriculum and assessment are processes that lie at the heart of schooling. Many attempts are currently being made to internationalise these processes- either by the extension of ‘national’ systems into international contexts are by the establishment of ‘supra-national systems such as the International Baccalaureate. This competition for influence is examined within the processes of globalisation, democratisation and inclusion which provide the current context for international schooling. Examples and case studies are provided and students are expected to contribute examples of these processes at work in international schools with which they are familiar.  -- Course Website
