Over the course of this unit students will develop specific knowledge of the philosophical themes of freedom and subjectivity in twentieth century French thought, and familiarity with the ideas of key thinkers of that period including Camus, Sartre, Beauvoir, Althusser, and Foucault. -- Course Website
