This unit examines the development and consequences of modernism and postmodernism in literature. Both movements will be addressed through the themes of 'spaces', 'making it new' and 'selves'. Students will study a range of texts (including prose, poetry, and film) and writers such as Virginia Woolf, T.S. Eliot, Thomas Pynchon, and Michael Cunningham.Assessment -- Course Website
