This unit provides students with a basic understanding of the processes involved in policy and program evaluation. Through an examination of an evaluation report of a student's own choosing students will be introduced to the different processes involved in good evaluation; the political nature of evaluation research and its application to evaluation report writing; the impact of evaluation for policy outcomes; and how to write an evaluation report.
