This unit extends students' appreciation and use of formal and informal styles of Indonesian. Students will study the use of spoken language primarily through dialogues and discussion and formal language through the study of contemporary, authentic texts from the Indonesian media. By the end of this unit, students will have covered key aspects of Indonesian grammar and had the opportunity to use them. Students will also gain insights into Indonesian culture, including aspects of Islam and the notion of national and regional identities as reflected through the use of national and regional languages.Assessment -- Course Website
