Students will be given the structure to pursue a studio based, individually researched visual project that will provide an opportunity to produce paintings in a variety of contemporary modes. These range from the traditional to an awareness of the diverse new hybridized forms. Unit guidelines provide a conceptual context for personal exploration in paint, which centres on independent thinking and research and the articulation of that work through a coherent body of paintings. -- Course Website
