Activities in this unit will include exploring practical and theoretical considerations which effect the development of multiple, non-linear narratives. Contemporary narration in such visual art forms as comics and graphic novels has explored complex issues such as feminism, ecology and other socio-political agendas as well as recasting familiar comic book characters. Students will be able to explore forms of narration through a series of small practical projects relating to comics, advertising and storyboard images, which will be supplemented by excursions to galleries.Assessment -- Course Website
