Students will undertake regular technique classes which increasingly refer to resources for building kinaesthetic imagination and articulation. These resources can include developmental movement, ideokinesis, and release technique. Composition workshops introduce experimental approaches used by post-modern dance artists in the second part of the twentieth century. Readings in dance history also focus on this period. -- Course Website
