This unit introduces the students into the principles and practice of experimental research work including research project planning, organisation and implementation as well as preparation of a major research report and conduct of research project seminar. Building on the literature review carried out in Research Project 451, the student will carry out the experimental part of the research project. The final report will be a consolidation of the literature review and the experimental part producing an undergraduate thesis. Workshops in writing a major research report and organisation and presentation of a research seminar will be provided. -- Course Website
