This unit further Improves students' ability to communicate effectively in both formal and informal settings. Awareness of language variations and regional differences will be strengthened through readings of and discussions on current affairs. Students will also be introduced to the Chinese classical language. Students are encouraged to use the language skills that they have acquired to carry out research and independent studies on changes in Chinese-speaking communities. -- Course Website
