Australian art examines the ways in which art has mediated the politics of identity in Australia since settlement. Key issues are the roles of nationalism, landscape and place, the changing influences of provincialism and European culture in the shift from colonial to postcolonial times, and the impact of Indigenous cultures. -- Course Website
