This unit provides an overview of data analysis fundamentals that are considered necessary and appropriate for students pursuing a master's level science qualification with a coursework emphasis. The objectives include acquiring knowledge and awareness of various forms of scientific data; developing practical skills related to collecting, managing and analysing different types of data; and developing a working knowledge of basic data analysis procedures using spreadsheet functions and statistical software. -- Course Website
