The unit focuses on the psychology of injury rehabilitation and the psychological aspects of exercise, both in terms of the adoption/maintenance of exercise behaviours and the consequences of exercise for mental health. The unit is conducted in a seminar format. Students examine relevant academic literature, present information to the class and summarise their research in a written format. Students also conduct motivational interviewing and solution-focused coaching workshops and on health coaching practicum that meets Level 1 HCA accreditation. -- Course Website
