This unit is taken over two semesters and parts 1 and 2 must be completed to fulfil the requirements of the unit.<br/><br/>The disciplines included in this unit are inclusive of, but not restricted to, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, internal medicine, general surgery and general practice. Rural clinical practice develops skills in longitudinal case management in a variety of rural clinical contexts. It mentors culturally competent practice with Indigenous populations. <br/><br/>This unit replaces all Level 5 units except IMED5501/IMED5502 Science and Practice of Medicine Part 1/Part 2 and IMED5511/IMED5512 Special Clinical Skills Part 1/Part 2. -- Course Website
