This unit is taken over two semesters and parts 1 and 2 must be completed to fulfil the requirements of the unit.<br/><br/>Students who are interested in rural health are invited to apply for enrolment in this unit, which is part of the rural specialisation stream. Students either nominate an area of particular interest or select from a menu of available projects and, with the assistance of the unit coordinator, negotiate an attachment with a rural health team that allows them to conduct a research project of immediate relevance to the team and to rural health care.
