This unit is an introduction to types of health data and study designs, statistical reasoning, summarising and presenting data, statistical inference, analysis of means, proportions, rates and survival curves, the basics of regression analysis and sample size. Computing, using the statistical package IBM SPSS Statistics, is an integral part of the unit. -- Course Website
