This unit forms part of the Graduate Diploma in Neurological Rehabilitation which provides students with an opportunity to update theoretical knowledge and skills in the neurological rehabilitation of adults with acquired central and peripheral neurological disorders. The main focus of the unit is on developing clinical reasoning and evaluation procedures. This includes revision of physiology and anatomy of musculoskeletal and neurological systems, an in-depth review of clinical reasoning theory, assessment procedures for acquired central or peripheral nervous system disorders and interpretation of clinical findings.
