This unit introduces students to methodological and ethical issues that need to be considered in the construction of their research proposals. Students also learn about a range of specific research techniques that often prove valuable to the scientist-practitioner. Students receive exposure to relevant statistical techniques through attendance at workshops nominated by their research project supervisor. These techniques include experimental methodology, methods to study short-term and long-term change over time, and survey-based research approaches. -- Course Website
