This unit is taken over two semesters and parts 1 and 2 must be completed to fulfil the requirements of the unit. <br/><br/>The unit teaches students all aspects of the diagnosis and treatment of common foot conditions; to perform minor podiatric surgery using local anaesthesia on a limited range of soft-tissue digital abnormalities; and to competently use medications for the appropriate management of conditions of the foot and ankle as come within the scope of podiatry. -- Course Website
