The directed program of study focuses on deepening students' understanding of the core conceptual and methodological foundations of geography and planning. Students explore the history and philosophy of geography and planning, competing theoretical and methodological approaches, analytical techniques, and the linkages between theory and practice. While the discipline is considered as a whole, students focus their studies on a particular subdisiplinary area selected in consultation with the unit coordinator. -- Course Website
