This unit provides students with the opportunity to engage in a real-world master planning project for an urban or regional location. Not only does this provide 'real-world' planning skills, it also introduces students to key concepts and techniques in urban and regional planning. Students study the traditions and philosophies of planning, planning ethics, plan making, and other planning practice issues from the perspective of public and private sectors. -- Course Website
