It includes fundamentals of rock and fluid properties, classification of reservoir fluids, description and mathematical expression for different types of reservoir heterogeneity, different oil recovery mechanisms and different forms of material balance equation (MBE), different methods for predicting reservoir performance, a review of fluid flow in porous media, well test design and interpretation, reservoir engineering aspects of horizontal wells, water and gas coning, water flooding, enhanced oil recovery, reservoir management, field appraisal and development planning. -- Course Website
