Students study the conditions of chronic myeloid leukaemia—diagnosis, genetics, prognostic factors, disease monitoring; polycythaemia vera—diagnosis, genetics, prognostic factors; essential thrombocytosis; myelofibrosis; and myelodysplastic syndromes—diagnosis, genetics, prognostic factors, disease monitoring. Particular emphasis is given to providing the students with a sound knowledge of the cellular analysis, prognostic factors and disease monitoring tools utilised in the diagnosis and treatment of these myeloproliferative disorders and myelodysplasia. -- Course Website
