This unit builds on PATH5557 Molecular Genetics Practicum I and provides students with a sound knowledge and understanding of basic laboratory methods including (1) microarray testing and data analysis; (2) preparing samples for whole of genome next-generation sequencing and analysis of data; and (3) preparing samples for exome capture and next-generation sequencing and analysis of data.<br/><br/>The unit is designed to provide the practical knowledge for the methods listed above.
