This unit focuses on three components: (1) Literature review—supervisors assess the student's understanding of the current state of the topic of research, ability to review and analyse scientific literature, and write a literature review suitable for inclusion in a research thesis; (2) Research plan—supervisors assess the clinical relevance of the project being proposed, the coherence and feasibility of its scope, timelines and resource implications, and the novelty of the ideas and techniques being utilised; (3) Seminar—scientific peers and supervisors assess the student's understanding of the research process, their ability to present their findings and proposal in a scientific forum,... -- Course Website
