This unit is designed to run concurrently with PAED4404 Child Health Honours Research Project I, and provides honours students with the research skills necessary to undertake their chosen research project. Students undertake an extensive review of the literature and prepare a research proposal outlining the rationale and hypotheses underpinning their research project, the proposed study design and experimental methods to be utilised, and the development of a prospective data/statistical analysis plan. Students are to present a research proposal seminar where they justify their research plan, and are given feedback on their proposed research.
