This unit builds on the knowledge and skills gained in NURS5821 Nursing Practice 1 (formerly NURS8821 Nursing Practice 1) and NURS5831 Clinical Nursing Skills 1 (formerly NURS8831 Clinical Nursing Skills 1) and complements NURS5832 Clinical Nursing Skills 2 by introducing students to the dimensions of medical/surgical nursing of individuals across the life span. It focuses on diseases that have been identified as 'National Health Priority' areas.
