This unit extends students' understanding of the phenomena of instrumental and vocal teaching in the music studio setting—the psychological and pedagogical aspects of instrumental and vocal teaching and performance; philosophy of instrumental and vocal teaching; materials, repertoire and methods; and the role of instrumental and vocal teaching in general education and in relation to orchestral, band, choral and music/theatre rehearsal and performance. -- Course Website
