This unit is a continuation of MUSC1401 Practical Studies 1 and offers students the opportunity to undertake further preparatory studies in both acoustic and electroacoustic music composition through the study of historical and contemporary techniques and their application, and/or to further develop performance ability through the acquisition of technical and musical skills. It consists of three streams in Composition (major) (stream A); Performance (major) (stream B); and Composition/Performance (dual studies) (stream C).
